I added a power strip for distributing the power throughout all of the devices I will be running in GONK, including the Warning light, a charging system, and various lights and sounds. Top view of everything.

Here another brace is added because of the weight of things causing a bow in the body. This will hold the front and back of GONK in line. A couple screws holds great! This gives the extra support that is needed with the light system.

Here you can see why the port had to be so big…this was the only way the lid could go on without removing the light every time. I removed the light to add the seam plate that will essentially sit just underneath the port opening when you put the lid on and hide any gaps. [...]

Now it’s time to cut a port for the warning light to go through. I cut the bin a little big for easy access…. Then I cut a filler I will place on the shaft of the Warning light to fill any gaps after the lid is on. Here is the light port and the [...]

A gap is unacceptable…the lid will not slide on with that there! A single metal screw takes care of that problem. A couple in the bottom will hold the wood frame tight. The body is now VERY strong and firm!
