Warning Light Port


Now it’s time to cut a port for the warning light to go through. I cut the bin a little big for easy access….

Then I cut a filler I will place on the shaft of the Warning light to fill any gaps after the lid is on.

Here is the light port and the gap plate.

My lid is a little leaning here, it happened when I was cutting the lip from the top bin…a little too much of one side caused the ‘gansta lean’ here. This will be OK once I add the ‘C’ channel around the seam. I will be securing the lid to the aluminum lip I put on the lower bin and can level the lid at that time. The ‘C’ channel will had the imperfection…
