New front
Well I re-built the front panel already. After getting it done and doing some measuring, it just wasn’t correct. And after some closer examination of the hi-res shots I have, I noticed that the bottom of the cap does not extend across the frame, so I got rid of those end pieces.
Here is my evac door (unfolded and uncut) to check scale…and its a perfect fit. It’s 19″ from the bottom of the evac door to the top of the Cap frame. And it’s 19″ from left to right of the frame, and front to back.
Here is a good shot that shows there will be a bit of room inside for mechanics.
I watched the evacuation series a few more times, and the scale looks good! When the cube is getting spit out you can see there is clearance on both sides. Approximately the same that I have here.
