New House for the Family
Well, the house my wife and I found, and put a bid on, is nearly ours. We go this Thursday (March 24th, 2011) to give them the check and pick up the keys.
We found a wonderful manufactured home on two acres of land down a long quiet road approximately five miles from town. The house has a horse corral and a pond as well as some woods in the back yard. We really only have two neighbors, then the houses are really far apart in this area. From what I understand, the family that lives to our left works for the city council, and their house is approximately 200 feet from ours with woods between us, so we can’t even see them. The property to our right is a five and a half acre property with a house that is currently vacant. It used to belong to the same people we purchased our home from, but was foreclosed on by the bank.
Since we have such a big family and church family and group of friends, it may be hard for us to keep up with everyone with all of the construction details from day to day, so I decided to create this page to show pics and videos of everything we are doing, along with what we install, where we got it from and who is helping.
This way, all of our family and friends can simply check this site when they want to be “up to date” with the progress of our new house.
We are supposed to take possession of the house on Monday, March 28th, 2011. I will be taking pictures and video on that day of the entire house and all the projects that need to be done and post them.
