Got the Key…
Well, my wife and I got the key to our new home today. We went to the house and I took some measurements and notes. Boy, we have a lot of work to do. But, we are both still very excited about the deal we got. We found out from the assessor yesterday that the house is valued at three times what we paid for it. So we have already tripled our investment, and we haven’t even done any renovations or construction yet.
Terri and I will be traveling out of town tomorrow to begin making some of the smaller purchases that we need to make for the renovations. I have my good friend coming over next Tuesday to discuss the floors. She’s a contractor, and she is going to do some work in our kitchen, and help with converting the front room into the dining room.
This weekend I will be performing the well-water tests, and video taping it for the net. It should be awesome, I heard back from the company that produces the kit, and they said that the first 100 people who order calling the number they gave me will get a 50% discount. You can’t beat that!
Tomorrow should be a lot of fun!
