Ceiling Fan Completed, Loft Started and Kitchen Sink Installed
Well, we are gettiing things completed little by little. I installed the kitchen sink today, along with the new faucet and drinking water spiggot. The filter for the drinking water is under the sink. Everything went in fairly easy. I had to cut the sink opening in the cabinet bigger for the new sink, but other than that, it wasn’t too difficult. I also installed a neat little device on the faucet, when the water is cold, a blue LED lights up the stream, and when the water is hot it turns red. So you don’t have to stand there with your hand under the water waiting for it to get cold or hot 
I also finished building the loft for Trent’s room with his help yesterday. Now I will put it up today when I get some of the guys over to do other work. It’s far too heavy for me to lift by myself. I attached to 2×4′s to the studs in the bedroom wall, and I have to 4×4′s for the legs. I also have some brackets to attach the legs to the floor so the wont move. It will be very strong and sturdy.
I also finished the ceiling fan in the front room today with Trent’s help. I put up the tiles to cover the broken mirror, and put up some trim as well. I think it looks pretty good…a heck of a lot better than those mirrors
Today Jodie is coming to finish the tile in the kitchen and utility room, and the cable guy is coming to connect the cable to all the bedrooms and front room, as well as hook up internet.
I also have a couple friends from church coming over, John and Jayson, and they are going to start taking down the fence in the front so we can move it, and build a smaller area for the kids play area.
I have 21 days left to finish the house, and get the family moved in…last night I was dreaming about what I had to do today. I will be glad when this is over ha ha ha
