Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Bruce Arthur Shields is a published author, and accomplished master leather smith born in the United States in the heart of industrial Michigan. His works have gained notoriety both locally in his Northern Michigan hometown of Tawas, as well as regionally. In 2009 Priya Ganapati of WIRED magazine wrote an article about his sculpture, "Salvaged," where he created a working Nintendo Gamecube model of Disney/Pixar's beloved character Wall-e. For the last decade, he has focussed on becoming a master leather smith, creating his most beautiful and creative works from leather.
